Introduction to the Wingsurfing Course

  1. Theory and Safety: Course participants are introduced to the basic theory of wingsurfing, including concepts such as how the wind works, weather conditions, right-of-way rules, and water safety techniques.
  2. Equipment and Assembly: Detailed information is provided on the equipment needed to practice wingsurfing, including the board, the wing, and other accessories. Students learn how to properly assemble and prepare the equipment for sailing.
  3. Basic Maneuvers: Instructors teach students the basic maneuvers of wingsurfing, such as starting from the water, controlling direction and speed, tacking and gybing.


Wingsurfing course techniques

  1. Sailing Techniques: Participants learn how to use the wing effectively to sail in different wind and water conditions. This includes learning optimal body positions, balance on the board, and control of the wing through the arms.
  2. Advanced Maneuvers: Once the basic skills are acquired, wingsurfing course participants can progress to more advanced maneuvers, such as the jibe (change of direction), the tack (turn in the opposite direction to the wind), the power jibe and other acrobatics.
  3. Recovery and Safety: You will learn recovery techniques in case of a fall or loss of equipment, as well as safety procedures to follow in emergency situations.
